Ailsa Clark, Physiotherapist

Ailsa Clark, Physiotherapist

Ailsa graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Science in 2000 and an MSc in Physiotherapy from the Robert Gordon University. In addition to being the Managing Director of Renew Physio, Ailsa specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injury rehabilitation with a special interest in golf, rugby and rowing. Ailsa is the team physiotherapist for Team La Mondiale, the British and Irish transatlantic world record holding rowing team. Ailsa is also a trained modified Pilates instructor.

Caroline Lyall, Physiotherapist

Caroline Lyall, Physiotherapist

Caroline joined Renew as a part-time evening physiotherapist, and later joined the team on a permanent basis as our Senior Physiotherapist. Also graduating from The Robert Gordon University with an MSc in Physiotherapy, Caroline has held prestigious roles with the Olympic Medical Institute and the GB Ski Team. From our centre in Edinburgh Caroline offers clients the benefit of her extensive experience gained in both the NHS and private sector and in dealing with orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries and general outpatients' physiotherapy. A trained Pilates instructor Caroline holds modified matwork pilates classes within the clinic.

Jamie Dougall, Physiotherapist

Jamie Dougall, Physiotherapist

Jamie joined Renew Physio in January 2011. After obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science, Jamie went on to gain a MSc Pre-reg in Physiotherapy. With a strong interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, Jamie is also the Physio for Berwick Rangers Football Club.

Trisha Williams, Massage Therapist

Trisha Williams, Massage Therapist

Trisha is Renew Physio's resident massage therapist and beauty therapist. She is qualified to perform sports and deep tissue massage in addition to therapeutic massage including Swedish, pregnancy and hot stone massage. She qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge and this gives Trisha a deeper understanding of human anatomy and physiology. She combines this knowledge with her massage skills to design a customised massage that suits the individual needs of each client. Using a variety of techniques, she helps to release tension in the muscles, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being, leaving clients feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. In addition to massage, Trisha has over five years experience as a beauty therapist and is offering a wide variety of waxing services at Renew Physio.

Joyce Orr, Clinic Manager

Joyce Orr, Clinic Manager

Joyce is the clinic manager and PA to Ailsa Clark. Her 15 years of office experience makes her a fantastic asset to the team at Renew Physio. Joyce acts as our clients' first point of contact when telephoning or visiting the clinic, and she also takes charge of the event management of all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses that are held at the clinic.
